Produced from grapes grown in the Magistra vineyard, the estate’s oldest vineyard, planted around 42 years ago with Sangiovese Grosso BBS 11 clones. The first vintage, 2018, was produced in a limited edition of just 1,000 bottles. The wine ages for three years in 10-hectolitre Slavonian oak casks, with extended bâtonnage, followed by a further year of bottle ageing. Its intense bouquet is a distinctive and authentic expression of the character of Sangiovese.
